Is buffing the same as waxing?
No. Buffing removes a thin layer of clear coat to eliminate scratches and oxidation. Waxing only adds protection. We often recommend buffing first, then waxing.
Will buffing remove deep scratches?
Buffing removes light to moderate clear coat scratches. Deep scratches that reach the primer or metal may require touch-up or repainting (which we also offer as part of our autobody repair services).
How long does a buffing service take?
Typically 1.5 to 3 hours depending on vehicle size and paint condition. We can work within your schedule – open Monday–Friday 8am–5:30pm and Saturday 9am–3pm.
